A gorgeous Italian farmhouse dating back to 1660 constructed of stone and renovated with the eye of perfection. The owners wanted an authentic look with the décor so period furnishings and artifacts from the owners historic roots in England mixed with timeless pieces from Italy and the village of Anghiari.

The color palate was chosen to reflect the era and a soft backdrop as not to overpower any of the owners antiques and collectables. Whites, light blues and greens helped accomplish that task. The original beamed ceilings, stone and brick archways and tile/stone flooring was fun to work with. Rugs with character and color helped to bring out the stone patina in the flooring and enhance the overall color scheme in the farmhouse. Mosaic tiles were used in the kitchen and baths to add color and a subtle finish to each room. Window treatments were soft and kept light in color and soft linen style fabrics to allow light and a soft frame around the windows and doors.

A fabulous fun project with a finished product right out of a story book
